Standard Cakes

What is the weight of each cake?

When deciding on your cake size, we suggest using the serving size as a guide rather than the weight, as different bakeries yield cakes of different weight even if the sizes are the same. For standard cakes, sizes are as follows: 6″ – 500-700g (serves 8 pax) 8″- 1-1.2kg (Serves 12-15 pax) For customized cakes, serving size guidelines are as below: Single-tiered cakes

  • 6” – serves 6 to 10 pax
  • 7” – serves 10 to 15 pax
  • 8” – serves 15-20 pax
  • 10” – serves 25-35 pax
  • 12” – serves 45-50 pax

Tiered cakes

  • 4″ x 6″ – serves 20 pax (2kg)
  • 4″ by 7″ – serves 25 pax (2.5kg)
  • 5” x 8” – serves 30-40 pax (3kg)
  • 6″ x 9″ – serves 50-60 pax (4.5-5kg)
  • 7″ by 10″ – serves 80 pax and up (7-8kg)
  • 4″ by 7″ by 10″ – serves 100 pax and up

If you have more guests to serve in your party, please contact our friendly customer service via WhatsApp and we will recommend you the size of cake to get accordingly.

What is the smallest size of cake you make?

Currently, 6” 1kg is the smallest sized customized cake that we make for delivery. A 6” cake serves about 8-12 people. Should there be any leftover cake, you may leave them in the fridge for a maximum of 2 days. We recommend the cake to be consumed within 48 hours from the receipt of your cake.

Need a smaller cake and you can collect? Simply let us know and we will send you a revised quote.

Are your cakes Halal certified?

Here, we use halal certified ingredients and our mixing bowls and utensils are used exclusively for baking and cake decorating.

How do I store my cake?

For fresh cream cakes, please store cake in refrigerator at all times. It should last out of fridge for about 1 hour.

For buttercream cakes, please keep refrigerated whenever possible, but if not, it should last in air-conditioned room for about 2-3 hours. Buttercream cakes tastes best when thawed 30mins-1hour upon taking out of refrigeration.

Our cake tastes best within 48 hours from the receipt of your cake. We recommend all cakes to be stored in the chiller compartment for a maximum of 2 days.

Does your cake contain raw eggs?

All eggs used in our cakes have been cooked thoroughly to avoid the risk of salmonella contamination.

Will candles and knives be provided?

One plastic knife and one long gold candle will be provided with every cake delivery.

Are your cakes sweet?

Good news! Our cakes are 30-50% lower in sugar than regular cakes, so you and your family (especially kids or diabetic patients) can enjoy them guilt-free when in moderation.

If I prefer a cake flavour that is not stated in your list, would you be able to make it?

Every cake flavour listed has gone through extensive testing before placing it up for order. If you have a cake flavor you’re crazy about and you really want it for your party, feel free to let us know and we will see what we can do. Additional charges will apply accordingly.

Customized Cakes

Will my cake look exactly like what I have ordered?

Images are meant to be guidelines for cake crafting. Here at our kitchen, we never guarantee an exact replication of a reference photo provided for practical purposes (Eg. colors on photos may look more vibrant due to color editing and lighting). We would also love to take this chance to craft a unique cake for your celebration, and not recreate another baker’s work, or even our own previous piece.

How many flavors can I choose for my tiered cake?

As long as your tiered cake is 6″ x 9″ and up (serves 50 pax and up), you may pick two flavors from the customised flavors list. For cakes smaller than 6″ x 9″, please select one flavour from the list, or top up $15 for two flavors. 

I chose chocolate as my customised cake flavour, but I want my outer cake layer to be blue in color. Is it still possible?

Yes, definitely! Fillings are in the middle, and the outer of the cake is coated with vanilla buttercream. Click here for flavors available.

Why are there bubble tea straws in your tiered cakes?

Structure is vital in tiered cakes, as they are heavier and require support, or they may not be able to hold. Please remove the straws before consumption. The straws are food safe but not edible.

Do you make fondant cakes?

We do not make fondant cakes for the following reasons:

  • Our recipes have been engineered to be light and moist, and it may not be able to support the structure of the heavy fondant.
  • Fondant is essentially sugar, and it has to be kept in air conditioned room at all times. Coming into contact with refrigeration or Singapore’s humid weather will cause it to melt or become shiny/sticky.

I am keen on getting a package with you. Can I customise my pastries color to my party?

We specialize in birthday parties, and makes macarons in batches every week. The colors are fixed based on what is available for that week (usually pastel or neutral colors that do not clash with birthday themes), but if you insist on a specific macaron color, you may do so at an additional top up of $10-20 per batch.

Cupcakes icing color are free to be customized by you, but customising means that any fudge toppings will be converted to vanilla buttercream so they can be coloured to your liking (*intended taste may be affected).

I have made my order. How long can I keep my cake and pastries out of refrigeration?

For cakes covered in Chantilly cream – it must be refrigerated at all times.

For customised cakes covered in buttercream, as far as possible, please keep cake in refrigeration and take it out for display for an hour (to defrost). If your fridge is not big enough, you may keep in air-conditioning 18-22 degrees. The cake will last out of fridge anywhere between 2-4 hours depending on ambient temperature. Sometimes, even if the place is air-conditioned (e.g. sports hall/chalets), the circulation is not ideal and the room may not be cold enough for it to last very long out of fridge.

Can I cancel my order?

Upon filling up the form, it is confirmation that we will deliver the cake requested to you. Cakes may be cancelled up to 1 week in advance or up to the progress we have finished your customised order (whichever is earlier). That means that should any fondant toppings, icing cookies or customised cake toppers been done prior to your cancellation, cancellation charge applies based on the work-in-progress. Cancellation charge may be up to 50% of cake order price quoted by us. If cakes are cancelled 3 days prior to your order, 50%- 100% cancellation fee applies.

Delivery, Collection & Payment

How many days in advance may I place my order?

We need minimum 2 days to a week to prepare your order, depending on the complication of your design. We recommend booking your slot with us as soon as you can, for we will close our orders once we are full!

   

How do I make payment for my order?

There are two payment schedules you can choose from – 1) Full payment before delivery. 2) Half (latest a week) before delivery, and the remaining half cash on delivery. Payment methods are available as below: 1) Bank transfer to OCBC 588-147561-001 2) Paylah! to +65-9021-8370 3) PayNow to UEN Number: 201833965W. Please notify us upon transfer and screenshot transaction reference so we can update at our end. Should you opt for half cash on delivery, please ensure someone is around to make payment (exact is preferred) and receive the cake.

I would like to self-collect my cake. Where can I do so?

Kindly collect your cake at the stipulated time and date at the following address: 18 Yishun Avenue 9, #02-19, Junction 9 Shopping Mall, (S) 768897 We are open 10-6pm daily, so do fix your self-collection appointment with our friendly staff, they will be happy to assist!

How do I handle the cake upon delivery?

Please hold the bottom of the cake box securely and ensure cake is fully supported before lifting it off a surface or receiving it from the delivery person. This is to ensure the cake does not fall from the bottom. Our customised cake box comes in three detachable sections – the cover, body and base. These three parts are secured by tape so it is easy for you to remove them prior to the celebration. If you are self collecting, do note that our boxes do not come with a paper bag because it is essential you hold it by the bottom. not in a bag from the handle as it will damage the cake. We highly suggest avoiding public transport after cake collection.

Do you deliver? If so, what are your delivery charges?

We deliver to all parts of mainland Singapore and Sentosa Island, as long as it is:

  • $88 and above for all cakes and pastries.

Deliveries to restricted zones are subjected to a $5 additional delivery. Deliveries to Sentosa are also an additional $10.

We deliver within a 2-3 hour time range, so if you need it specifically at a timing, before 9am or after 6pm, no problem at all! We will arrange for a separate vehicle to your place at a $30 additional. If your item falls below this amount, you may opt for self-collection at our store at the above address.

If you’re self collecting, we would love to thank you for taking the trouble – with a $10 discount off your cake!

Are there additional charges for deliveries to specific locations?

Yes. Deliveries to restricted zones are subjected to a $5 additional delivery due to ERP charges. Deliveries to Sentosa is also an additional $10.

Can I request for delivery to be a specific timing?

Delivery timings have a minimum grace period of 2 hours to ensure our delivery reaches your place in a timely manner. The standard delivery slots are 9am-12pm, 12-3pm or 3-6pm.Specific timing deliveries (0.5 hours grace) or extremely early deliveries (before 10am) will be subjected to additional $20-30. Our deliveries end at 6pm sharp… (they have a life! :P) So please ensure there is adequate air-conditioning or fridge space at your place of celebration. We also do not recommend cake cutting to be any later than 830pm if you’re leaving it out.

If I did not collect my order, will I be refunded?

If no one is present to collect the order at the time of delivery, we will call the number provided in the order and will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. If no one is present to receive the cake at the time of delivery, the recipient will have the option of re-delivery (additional $30, subjected to availability) or self-collection up to 2 days after the original time of delivery. After 2 days, the cake will be disposed. Refunds and exchanges are not available in such situations.

What if the cakes that I have ordered turn up damaged?

Please check the condition of the cake before acceptance. We do not take responsibility of cakes damaged after acceptance of the cake. If the cake is damaged at the point of delivery, kindly contact the number stated in the site and we will make alternative arrangements for you.
