Store Manager

Company Overview

Bob the Baker Boy is Singapore’s homegrown E-commerce bakery, and we aim to make a million people happy with our bakes. We have established a strong online presence, and now we are looking for a Store Manager that can help keep our customers happy, our people happy, and help us advance our mission towards baking the world a better place.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all orders for our standard and designer bakes are made and delivered on time.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing work flows to empower a lean and efficient team.
  • Supervising, managing and motivating team members, and provide effective guidance.
  • Review and recommend advertising and marketing strategies and systems to attract and retain customers.
  • Work with the kitchen manager to ensure that the bakery is adequately stocked with quality baking ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure fast (1 hour) customer ticket turnaround time.
  • Keep complaints below 2%
  • Ensure all orders for our standard and designer bakes are loaded onto delivery vehicles timely
  • Ensure that your direct reports OT hours are controlled at under 10 hours.
  • Bringing out the best in your team mates, especially within your section.
  • Hit company’s revenue forecast on a monthly basis
You know you are suitable if you:
  • Are a driven, hard and efficient worker (or what we call a workaholic)
  • Have proven experience (at least 2 years) in managing a bakery, cafe or any equivalent F&B establishment
  • A diploma/degree in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts is advantageous.
  • The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and take on several hats
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • 6 Day Week, Tuesdays OFF
