We brought a popular local flavor to our menu with our signature pandan chiffon cake, the earthiest Gula Melaka and fragrant coconut shreds. We finished the design with whipped coconut cream, and some desiccated coconut. This dessert of pandan cake and sweet gula melaka definitely gets a green light from our team!
We made the layers fresh pandan juice and a touch of pandan essence to give the fluffy cake layers an appetizing green colour. A lot of attention is given so the oven thermometer doesn’t go beyond the specified temperature. That the baking time didn’t exceed a single minute, and the cake rised to the right height, in millimeters. Our goal was to make the best ondeh ondeh cake in singapore.
